  An adult raccoon found wandering around Burnaby last Thursday with its right paw snared in a leg trap was euthanized after it chewed off its own foot.
  The animal, which was spotted by a resident on Norland Avenue, was dragging a trap and chain when it was recovered by a crew from the Critter Care Wildlife Society.
