  The Vancouver Park board has closed Sunset Beach so that crews can repair the damage caused by Friday’s 4/20 pot rally.
  On Saturday morning, crews from the park board were assessing what one spokesperson called “significant damage” to the grass and cleaning up the remains of any garbage left behind. The park board has set up fencing around the field and estimated Sunset Beach would be closed for 10 weeks.

  Officials have ordered an evacuation of 33 properties near Oliver because of immediate danger to life from flooding.
  Staff from the Oliver Fire Department, RCMP and the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen are coordinating the evacuation.
