Quebec travellers staying close to home for the holidays
More than half of Quebecers will take advantage of the holidays to travel within their home province, according to a survey conducted for Quebec’s tourism department.
Just over half of Quebecers said they intend to spend at least one night away from home.

Nez Rouge will drive thousands of tipsy Quebecers home this weekend
Organizers say Nez Rouge is preparing for its second busiest weekend of the season.
The service provides a drive-home service to people who have had too much to drink or smoke.
On Friday night, more than 3,700 volunteers provided about 5,200 rides across Quebec, bringing the total for the season to 39,000.
The service continues through Dec. 31.
