  A Surrey mother was found guilty Friday in Supreme Court in New Westminster of smothering her eight-year-old daughter.
  The body of Teagan Batstone was found in the trunk of a car in the 13900 block of 35A Avenue in Surrey in December 2014. Her mother, Lisa Batstone, 45, was charged a few days later with second-degree murder of her only child.
