  Four people were allegedly assaulted a central-area home on Sunday evening. Two of the four suffered minor injuries at the residence in the 0 to 100 block of Crawford Avenue, police say.Christopher McKeachnie, 34, was charged with resist peace officer, mischief under $5,000 and two counts each assault and assault causing bodily harm. • Pickup truck nearly strikes other vehicles east of Sault

  An erratically driven pickup truck towing a boat nearly collided with oncoming vehicles on Highway 17 east of Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday evening, police say.The vehicle was stopped in Algoma Mills and later towed.
