City council passed its 2019 municipal levy of $114,995,220 Tuesday night with an overall increase of 2.55 per cent. It also increased the outside agency and levy board portion 0.99 per cent, making the entire increase total 3.53 per cent.
While city council often claims that it can’t control outside levy boards increases, those hikes still appear on homeowner’s tax bills.
