• Terry Moore, a B.C. broadcaster for decades, dies of cancer

  VICTORIA — Terry Moore, a broadcaster whose career spanned 62 years, has died of cancer.
  Radio station CFAX says Moore died Monday at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, leaving behind his wife, Ramona, and four adult children. He was 82 years old.
  Moore was a well-know afternoon host on CFAX 1070 radio in Victoria since the early 2000s, where he interviewed newsmakers both locally and globally in his coverage of current events.

  Vancouver mayoral candidate Kennedy Stewart has publicly disclosed his campaign donors and is challenging his 20 competitors to do the same in advance of voting.

• Prince George man changed with manslaughter in connection with 2016 homicide

  A 46-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the 2016 death of Prince George man Patrick Mathewsie.
  Mathewsie was reported missing on July 1, 2016, three days after he was killed. His body was later found near the Highway 97 and Massey Drive off ramp in Prince George.
  Prince George RCMP arrested Jeremy John Lowley, 46, last Friday and he has since been changed with manslaughter.
  Both Mathewsie and Lowley are well-known to police.

  LANGFORD — An advocates group in B.C. is asking the province to reopen a provincial park just outside Victoria so that dozens of homeless campers who have set up tents there can receive food and other supplies.
  Alliance Against Displacement says in a release that the closure of Goldstream Provincial Park keeps the more than 30 campers isolated from assistance because people showing up trying to help them have been denied entry.

  The pretrial conference for the Kelowna man accused of killing his wife and two daughters days before Christmas last year is scheduled for next month.
