  Vancouver police have arrested an Ontario sex offender who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
  Marcel “Marc Lawson, 36, was spotted by a member of the public on Granville Street near Davie Street and then apprehended by police just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
  Lawson was wanted by Ontario police for breaching a long-term supervision order related to multiple convictions of sexual assault and sexual interference.

  COQUITLAM — The body of a hiker who was reported missing on Wednesday near Coquitlam has been found.
  Coquitlam Search and Rescue says two hikers got lost on Eagle Ridge near Buntzen Lake.
  While descending a steep gully, one of them fell and died at the scene.
  Coquitlam Search and Rescue also says in a tweet that both hikers were transported from the scene via long line.
