OPP say officers stopped a vehicle in Armour Township and, as a result of police investigation, both the driver and passenger were arrested.

Opened fire hydrant causes $23,500 damage
via nugget.caVandals opened a fire hydrant in Temiskaming Shores Friday morning, causing water breaks throughout the area, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
Police said that shortly after 4 a.m. the person or persons removed the lid and opened the hydrant. Water ran for some time in the area around Rebecca and Elm streets in New Liskeard.
