More than 300 people attended Canadore’s 29th annual Pow-wow, Saturday.
The cultural gathering included drumming, dancing, Indigenous arts and crafts, and a traditional feast at the Indigenous gathering space within The Village.
Delegates included emcee Chris Pheasant, host drum the Ottawa River Singers, co-host drum High Ridge Singers, head female Meegwyn Alisappi, head male Eric Assinewai, arena director Roger Assinewai and Elder Peter Beaucage.

The four per cent tax, which local operations started charging Friday, will be used to help fund tourism initiatives and infrastructure.
