    More than 50 BCWS members continue to battle Bradley Creek wildfire in Vernon
    While the Bradley Creek wildfire has been classified as ‘being held’ for 12 days now, BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) continues to have a large presence on scene to get the blaze under control.
    In its latest update, which came on Wednesday, Aug. 19, around 2:30 p.m., BCWS has 47 firefighters, five pieces of heavy equipment, and two helicopters on scene.
    As of Thursday morning, Aug. 20, one evacuation order and two evacuation alerts remain in place.
