Federal Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould on Tuesday named two new justices to Quebec Superior Court, one of them a specialist in prosecuting cases dealing with terrorism.
Lyne Décarie, a lawyer with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC), has overseen numerous terrorism cases. She will hear cases in Montreal.

Brian Mann and his girlfriend Tayana Jacques say they were on their way to get coffee on a Saturday morning last April when they began laughing at a cute Corgi on the street.
Seconds later, they say, a police car pulled up beside them on St-Laurent Blvd. and an officer told them they were laughing too loudly.
When Mann asked if there was a law against walking and laughing, two officers came out of the car saying they would define what was too loud, according to the couple.

Montreal police have turned to the public for help in locating 15-year-old Herlisha Noémie Guerrier, who was last seen Dec. 7 in the borough of Montréal-Nord. Investigators say they have reason to fear for the girl’s safety.
