'The bag lady' passes on her knowledge to help the homeless
She’s proud to call herself the bag lady.
Now, Lisa Wadup is hoping there will be a lot more bag people to follow in her footsteps.
Wadup takes plastic bags by the hundreds, cuts them up into what she calls plarn, or plastic yarn, and crochets them into pillows and mattresses she passes on to homeless people.

Nevertheless, the pair shared a selfie on Sunday — well, they sort of did.

Canadiens Game Day: Habs-Bruins rivalry alive and well again
The Canadiens-Bruins rivalry is alive and well again — and that’s a good thing for hockey.
The Original Six rivals met for the second time this season Saturday night at the Bell Centre with Boston coming out on top 3-2 on a power-play goal by John Moore at 17:03 of the third period. The Canadiens beat the Bruins 3-0 in their first meeting this season on Oct. 27 in Boston.
Saturday night’s game was a nasty, physical affair — the way things used to be when these two teams s -
In the Habs' Room: 'We need better discipline,' Julien says, blaming Drouin's penalty for loss
Jonathan Drouin said the Saturday showdown against the Boston Bruins was among the best games he’s played in a Canadiens’ uniform except for one brief moment in the third period.
Drouin was assessed a double-minor for high-sticking David Backes at 14:39 of the third period. The score was tied 2-2 at the time and Drouin was sitting in the penalty box when John Moore scored a power-play goal at 17:03 to give the Bruins a 3-2 victory.
There didn’t seem to be much contact on the pl -
About last night … Bruins edge Canadiens 3-2
Jonathan Drouin and Mr. Hyde.
Drouin scored the third-period goal that got the Canadiens on the board and into the game.
The Bell Centre erupted Saturday night, as it always does when a homeboy scores.
Especially when it’s a big goal … and that one was really big.
Seven minutes later, Jonathan Hyde suited up.
For no apparent reason, Drouin cross-checked David Backes in the face. And it drew blood.
Four-minute power play for the visitors. And the Canadiens’ PK – heroic th -

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — Five-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton clinched pole position for the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Saturday.
The Mercedes driver’s 11th pole of the season and record-extending 83rd of his career looked in some doubt as Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel was quicker at the first time split.
But Vettel went too wide on the last turn and qualified only third behind the Mercedes of Valtteri Bottas.
“What a great way to end the s -

Double-minor crushes Canadiens' comeback bid in 3-2 loss to Bruins
Tuukka Rask hasn’t had much success against the Canadiens in his career and coach Claude Julien’s comeback kids made it difficult for him Saturday night as they rallied for two goals in the third period to tie the score, only to lose 3-2 on a power-play goal by John Moore with 2:57 to play.
The Canadiens found themselves shorthanded for four minutes after Jonathan Drouin was called for what appeared to be a phantom high-sticking infraction against David Backes.
