One man is dead following a street fight early Sunday morning in the St-Léonard borough of Montreal.
The 29-year-old man was found sprawled on the street with a gunshot wound when police arrived at around 1:15 a.m. First responders could do nothing for the victim, police said.
The fight occurred outside a reception hall near the corner of Provencher Blvd. and Denis-Papin St.
Police say they received 911 calls from several witnesses about hearing multiple gun shots.

Man in critical condition after Cote-des-Neiges shooting
A man is in critical condition following a shooting in Côte-des-Neiges Sunday morning.
Police were called to the corner of Linton and Decelles Aves. around 5 a.m. to respond.
When they arrived, police say they found the 32-year-old man who had been shot in the upper and lower body.
The suspect fled before police arrived. Police are investigating the incident as attempted murder. -
Three-vehicle collision closes Highway 40 East near Iberville exit
Highway 40 eastbound past is closed after a transport truck and two small cars were involved in a crash Saturday night by the Iberville exit.
One westbound lane on Highway 40 is also closed.
Police said it appears a tractor trailer with no cargo driving down a centre lane blew a tire near the Iberville exit.
The two cars following swerved to avoid the truck but they both rolled over, crashing into a guard rail and a lamp post.
Both drivers, a man and a woman, were injured but police do not -
Update: A man has died after his glider crashed near Quebec City
A Quebec man, 54, died after his glider crashed onto a residential street in St-Raymond de Portneuf, near Quebec City.
The Sûreté du Québec said police received a call about the crash on de la Colline Ave. around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The plane hit Hydro-Québec electricity lines and knocked the power out. Hydro-Québec restored power to the area where the man crashed at around 8 p.m.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway. -

Glider crash leaves pilot in critical condition
One man is in critical condition after his glider crashed onto a residential street in St-Raymond de Portneuf, near Quebec City.

Hydro-Québec is currently working on restoring power to the area where the man in his 50s crashed. They estimate it will be restored around 7:45 p.m.
