SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea launched another ballistic missile toward its eastern waters Thursday, South Korean officials said, the third such weapons test this week.
South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said the launch occurred in the morning but did not immediately give further details, such as how far the missile flew.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — A biologist and wild horse researcher is calling for stronger federal and provincial protections for the animals after 17 carcasses were found in rural British Columbia.

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has named former governor general David Johnston as the special rapporteur on foreign interference.
Johnston has been asked to look into allegations of foreign meddling in Canada’s last two federal elections and recommend what the Liberal government should do about it.
