Vancouver police are alerting the public that a high-risk sex offender will be living in Vancouver.
Skylar Wayne Pelletier poses a “significant risk” to women in the community, Vancouver police warned in a news release Friday (Oct. 2). He has prior convictions of sexual assault, commit sex assault, break and enter and assault.

Multiple people were arrested and items were seized after officers with the Abbotsford Police Department witnessed a woman openly consuming drugs in a vehicle this week.
The incident happened on Wednesday (Sept. 30) where plainclothes officers were conducting proactive enforcement in the 2400 block of Crescent Way.
