  Favourable overnight conditions allowed crews to make “good progress” with hand ignitions on the southern flank of the Bald Range wildfire in Summerland, the BC Wildfire Service said.
  Six helicopters supported firefighters in battling the blaze, with structure protection personnel and apparatus also continuing operations on the ground.
