  Langley Forest School is in the process of laying off staff and trying to help concerned parents who recently found out the child-care program would not be back in September, after Fraser Health deemed its licence expired.
  Forest school board president Carol LaJeunesse said the school has sought every legal means and recourse to get the decision changed, but to no avail. It’s come to the point of letting people go.

  An eight-month search for a missing Abbotsford woman has now been called off after authorities found her deceased body on Wednesday (Aug. 26).
