  Two men have been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Taran Pandher, who was shot while inside a taxi in Langley in September of 2025.

  Favourable overnight conditions allowed crews to make “good progress” with hand ignitions on the southern flank of the Bald Range wildfire in Summerland, the BC Wildfire Service said.
  Six helicopters supported firefighters in battling the blaze, with structure protection personnel and apparatus also continuing operations on the ground.
