Chants for Dylan Larkin: “I found it embarrassing”
Last night, right from the start of the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings, several fans in attendance chanted “We Want Larkin” loud and clear.
It's pretty special, but we know how Habs fans can be when they've got their minds set on something.
The idea was to convince the American to add the Habs to his list, but let's be honest—I don't think it made much of a difference.
That said, Grant McCagg strongly disagreed with this chant.

Jayden Struble: More than 19 minutes of playing time
Most Montreal Canadiens fans were happy to see the team acquire a second-round pick in exchange for Jayden Struble.
There wasn't really a spot for him in Montreal, and Arber Xhekaj can offer pretty much the same thing—but better (though with a bit more disciplinary issues).
In short, he never really had the chance to play significant minutes with the Habs, except when there were injuries on the blue line.
Yesterday, Struble played his first game with his new team, the Nashville Predators.

The Montreal Goalie Controversy: Chapter #157
The Montreal Canadiens have always had a goaltending controversy on their team, except during Carey Price's tenure.
Whether it was José Théodore frustrated at losing his starting spot to Price, the Halak/Price dilemma, the Montembeault/Allen/Primeau three-way competition, or, more recently, the Dobes/Montembeault debate, Montreal knows this all too well.

The Montreal Canadiens once again didn’t play their best game last night against the Detroit Red Wings, but at least they managed to come away with the win without allowing a single goal.
Jacob Fowler was flawless in net for the Habs, stopping all 30 shots from the Detroit Red Wings and shutting the door on all six of the Wings' shootout attempts.
