Govt asks people to use Sanchar Saathi to verify mobile connections, handsets

In an effort to enhance mobile security, the government has urged citizens to validate their mobile connections through the Sanchar Saathi Portal. This platform allows individuals to review all mobile numbers registered under their identity. Recently, the Department of Telecom blacklisted an agent involved in unlawful SIM activations. Citizens are advised against sharing SIM cards registered in their names to curb potential misuse and maintain a safer communication landscape.

Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri has appealed to the UN Human Rights Council for urgent intervention regarding deteriorating human rights conditions in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Domestic and foreign institutional investors of Fortis Healthcare (Fortis) have expressed concern that the Delhi High Court’s order seeking a forensic audit of transactions involving its former promoters.
