  One man was arrested and another person taken away by air ambulance following an incident at the Salmon Arm Church of Christ on Sunday morning.
  A B.C. Ambulance spokesperson said that two ground ambulances and one air ambulance were sent to church — at 490 5 Ave. SW — at 10:37 a.m.
  The air ambulance landed at Blackburn Park, across the road from the church, and took away one person. There was a heavy police presence outside the church, that is in a light industrial zone.

  A local has finally won the Vancouver Sun Run.
  Justin Kent, a 26-year-old from Burnaby, outkicked Albertan Trevor Hofbauer over the final 300 metres on Sunday to take the men’s division of the legendary 10K race by a body length in a time of 29 minutes, 30 seconds.
  After rounding off, Hofbauer was also timed in 29:30.
  Haron Kiptoo Sirma, one of three Kenyans who Kent and Hofbauer moved past at the nine-kilometre mark, was third in 29:33.

  According to the Abbotsford Police Department, emergency services were called to the 30000-block of Fraser Highway at 2:20 a.m.
  Upon arrival, a 37-year-old woman was found deceased. The driver, who reported the accident, remained on scene and is co-operating with the police. He did not sustain any injuries.
