  Police in New Hazelton are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing woman on Christmas Day.
  Cynthia Martin was last seen on Dec. 23 around 9 p.m. in New Hazelton, which is located about 70 kilometres northwest of Smithers.
  Martin is an indigenous woman, about 50 years old with brown eyes and black hair. She is about 5-foot-3 and 135 pounds, and was last seen wearing a grey jacket with dark-coloured pants.

  A dog found missing in New Westminster on Christmas morning is now home for the holidays.
  The lost dog was found by New Westminster police in the 400-block of Third Street on Christmas. The dark-haired canine with white markings did not have ID tags but was wearing an anti-bark collar.
  Police then put out a call for the family to come forward and have since reunited the dog with its owners, just in time for Christmas.
