Someone swiped the piece of a heavy machinery, a John Deere Model 26, from a job site at the corner Dilworth Drive and Enterprise Way.
Kelowna RCMP says an employee overseeing the site left the area between 10 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. The excavator was missing when he returned to work.
