  Salmon Arm RCMP say a pair of suspected thieves who allegedly robbed a couple of their SUV at knifepoint were foiled by the vehicle’s GPS tracking system.
  The incident happened Monday afternoon at an ATM outside a Salmon Arm Bank.
  RCMP say the victims were withdrawing money when they were confronted by a man in a mask who threatened them with a knife. The man took their cash and keys before driving away in the stolen car with a female accomplice.

  A patient who filed a lawsuit after her father’s diamond ring went missing at Kelowna General Hospital has had her case dismissed by a judge.
  Patricia Crichton, a retired graphics specialist, was wearing the ring valued at $38,000 when she was admitted to the hospital for hip-replacement surgery in February 2017.
