Man arrested after setting fire to couches in Delta police building
via theprovince.comA man is under arrest after Delta police say a suspect walked into one of the department’s buildings and set fire to couches in the lobby.
The suspect walked into the Delta Police Public Safety Building in north Delta at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
“He proceeded to start a fire on the couches in the lobby, which caused the building sprinkler to go off,” said Delta police spokeswoman Cris Leykauf in a release.

Homeless campers arrested after invading vacant Nanaimo school
