Delta police issue $40K in penalties for unsafe commercial vehicles during blitz
via theprovince.comNearly half the commercial vehicles inspected during a safety blitz last month in Delta were pulled off the road for being unsafe, resulting in nearly $40,000 in fines and tickets.
From Sept. 25 to 27, police located in six locations throughout Delta stopped a total of 357 commercial vehicles for full inspections. Only 39 passed with no defects.
