Katelyn Marie Noble was last seen on Aug. 27, 2007, in the Radisson area, northwest of Saskatoon.
Eduard Viktorovit Baranec, a 41-year-old man who is serving time at a federal prison in B.C., was arrested Tuesday. He is charged with first-degree murder.

Arborist crushed by tree dies in Maple Ridge

Trish Knight Chernecki confirmed that WorkSafeBC is investigating a serious work-related incident at Maple Ridge Golf Course that occurred late Tuesday afternoon.
Preliminary information indicates a worker was struck by a tree and succumbed to injuries, she said, in an email Wednesday.
She would not provide any details about the person who died. There are reports the worker was a man from Maple Ridge.

West Coast Express train parking in Port Coquitlam affected by crash

TransLink says the police investigation and cleanup has blocked most of the lot.
