The Happenings: Three things to do in Vancouver on Wednesday, Sept. 26
via vancouversun.comLooking for something to do in Metro Vancouver? Here are three suggestions for Wednesday, Sept. 26.Bedouin Soundclash
Say, remember Bedouin Soundclash? The ska-reggae group was downright ubiquitous for a stretch towards the end of the last decade — “When the Night Feels My Song” was in heavy rotation — and then, shortly after the release of their fourth album in 2010, the band disappeared. But now they’re back, promoting new music for the first time in seven years. -

via theprovince.comEDMONTON — The lasting bond between Ty Rattie and Brendan Leipsic extends beyond being hotshot juniors in Portland.
There’s mutual respect and support in the push to make permanent impressions with their respective NHL clubs, because they’re at a career crossroads on expiring contracts. And yet, with time not on their side, the survivors may have found longevity.
Rattie not only looks like a right-wing fit on the Edmonton Oilers’ first line with Connor McDavid and Ryan Nu -

Canucks Post Game: Stecher’s big game, Markstrom’s penalty and endless preseason
via theprovince.comIn the wake of Monday’s 4-1 loss to the Kings, I found myself pondering the question, “What would this game have looked like with Elias Pettersson, Ben Hutton and Chris Tanev in the lineup?”
Better, probably. As JPat pointed out during our post-game presser with Travis Green, the game was just 2-1 at the end of two. It wasn’t like the Canucks were hopelessly out of it.
But as I noted in the game story, the reality of the Kings being just that much better across most -
