Ben Kuzma: Father knows Canuck best? Tim Horvat knows Bo is a natural born leader
via theprovince.comYes. No. Maybe so.
Like a pendulum, the Vancouver Canucks’ captaincy question is either a pressing concern or a non-issue. Whether it’s Bo Horvat who supplants the retired Henrik Sedin or three alternates, nobody navel gazes better than this NHL franchise.
This is all you really need to know about Bo.
Tim Horvat is the centre’s father, occasional off-season coach, post-game confidant and unabashed backer. He not only knows where the first-liner is headed mentally and physically -
ART SEEN: How Patricia Piccinini's transgenic 'homeless' creatures came to Vancouver

Looking into Room 107 from the hallway of the Patricia Hotel, all you can see is the back of something not quite human lying on its side a white bedspread.
Once inside the room, you can see it’s a mother and her offspring. Despite the otherwise domestic scene, the effect is to create an altogether unsettling feeling, not only because you’re looking at several transgenic human-a -

Surrey’s Adam Svensson fulfills ‘life-long dream’ of earning PGA Tour card
via theprovince.comThere’s one thing you won’t see Canadian Adam Svensson do on the PGA Tour next year — hit a ball marked with the number four.
The Surrey native doesn’t know how the superstition started. but he simply won’t jinx his game by playing a four, especially on the tour he’s been dreaming of playing his entire life.
While some pros use specially designed balls painted with a lucky numeral, others stick to the factory-produced version, marked with the numbers one throu -
