• Victoria residents woke up to morning earthquake Sunday

  A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck south of Victoria on Sunday morning.
  The earthquake occurred in the Juan de Fuca Strait, 30 kilometres southeast of Victoria and 21 kilometres northeast of Sequim, Washington, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
  It struck at a depth of 23.2 kilometres at 5:55 a.m.
  Many Greater Victoria residents took to social media to report being woken up by the rumbling.
