  INVERMERE — A woman and her dog have disappeared during a hike in Jumbo Pass in British Columbia’s southeast.
  Police say a group of six people were hiking in the area on Sunday when the woman from Cranbrook went for a short walk by herself and didn’t return.
  The hikers called for help on Monday by setting off a satellite activation device.
