J.J. Adams: Circus soccer? Whitecaps going for the ‘juggler’ Saturday in New York
via theprovince.comRingling Brothers they are not, but the Vancouver Whitecaps are preparing for some “circus soccer.”
The Caps travelled Thursday to the Big Apple where they will face New York City FC on their tiny, possibly crooked, field at Yankee Stadium. The postage-stamp pitch has a reputation for turning games into frenetic free-for-alls, with the smaller confines leaving less breathing room for players on the ball.
The Pigeons have adapted well to their tiny stoop, winning 10 of 11 games in the -
