Jennifer Siddon: Woodfibre LNG a good fit for Squamish
via vancouversun.comContrary to what is suggested in the article “Industry and conservationists square off over B.C.’s Howe Sound” (July 21), the shipping of natural gas in its liquid form is safe.
• Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is natural gas that is very cold (-162 C), and is not stored under pressure. In the unlikely event LNG is spilled, unlike other fuels, it doesn’t mix with land or water. Instead, LNG returns to a gas state and dissipates.

Letters to The Province, July 24, 2018: Donated home should be open to all of the public, reader suggests
via theprovince.comEric Manford Pierce left an amazing gift to Vancouver — his heritage home in Kitsilano. Now there is a request for proposals from non-profit organizations on how to use the house for the benefit of the community.
