Police say they’ve seized a sawed-off shotgun and ammunition in a raid at a home in Surrey.
According to Surrey RCMP, a search of a home by gang investigators in the 12500-block of 113B Avenue found the gun and about 100 carbine rounds, 25 shotgun shells and rounds for a .22-calibre rifle. Officers also found a small bag of marijuana and an air-soft rifle.

ICBC recorded all-time high 350,000 car crashes in 2017
via vancouversun.comBritish Columbians racked up an all-time hight 350,000 car crashes in 2017, which cost $4.8 billion in total claims, a financially-beleaguered ICBC reported this morning.
That is a six-per-cent rise from 2016, and a rate that is 25 per cent higher than 2014, according to ICBC statistics.
“That means one out of 10 drivers could cause a crash this year,” said Lindsay Matthews, ICBC’s interim vice-president for road safety in releasing the figures.
