Ergete Ferede and Charles Lammam: Just cut top income-tax rate to spur B.C. entrepreneurship
via vancouversun.comEntrepreneurship remains a vital source of innovation, which helps grow economies and provides employment opportunities for British Columbians.
Unfortunately, fewer businesses are starting in B.C. (and Canada as a whole), pointing to a long-term decline in rates of entrepreneurship. This downward trend could have negative and widespread effects on B.C.’s economic well-being.
There’s a growing debate over how government policies affect entrepreneurship and what policies could hel -
Kuzma: Rockwood’s health is an every-day NCAA challenge
via theprovince.comAdam Rockwood has a rare level of hockey resolve. He also has a rare genetic condition.
The Coquitlam native will enter his senior year at the University of Northern Michigan with high hopes for a Frozen Four berth, NHL interest and keeping his health in check. The centre has CPT II (Carnitine palmitoyltransferase II), a deficiency that prevents the body from using certain fats for energy, particularly during periods without food (fasting).
There is no cure but the condition can be managed.

The accomplishment said as much about the person as the player.
Rockwood turns 23 in September and that’s sobering for any size-challenged athlete with professional aspirations. The undrafted North Sh -
