  A Vancouver man has been charged with 12 counts of robbery in connection with a string of bank heists across the Lower Mainland earlier this year.
  Sean Bishop, 46, was arrested May 3 following a lengthy investigation by the Burnaby RCMP robbery unit.
  RCMP first issued an arrest warrant for Bishop following a Feb. 24 bank robbery in Burnaby.
  While he was at large, police connected Bishop to 11 other bank robberies that occurred in Burnaby, Vancouver and Coquitlam.

  Six men were arrested and a quantity of drugs seized last week as part of an investigation into a continuing Lower Mainland gang conflict.
  Surrey RCMP announced Monday that police searched three Surrey homes last Wednesday. The homes were in the 12700-block of 64 Avenue, 8800-block of 132 Street and the 9200-block of 163 Street.
  The homes were suspected of being used in drug trafficking that has led to violence across the Lower Mainland.
