Burnaby firefighters battle grass fire

The fire broke out in some dry grass on a trail at the south end of Cariboo Drive shortly before 10 p.m., and quickly spread to about 250 square metres.

Coroner spokesperson Andy Watson said he did not have many details to share because it was early in the investigation but said the girl was just shy of being two years old.
There are reports the child wandered away from a daycare in Mission. However, Watson said he could not comment on any other aspects of the investigation at this time.
