RCMP are on the lookout for a suspicious man and vehicle that were involved in a child luring incident outside a Surrey elementary school.
Police say a child was approached by a man in a car while waiting outside Frost Road Elementary School in the 8600 block of 162 Street just after 1 p.m. Monday.

Vancouver police's anti-gang operation leads to seven arrests
via vancouversun.comThe Vancouver Police Department arrested seven people and seized four guns as part of a joint anti-gang investigation with Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, the province’s anti-gang agency.
The VPD says the three-month operation, dubbed Project Temper, resulted in the dismantling of a violent and organized Vancouver-based crime group.
“This violent crime group was comprised of several individuals including its leader Taqdir Gill,” VPD Supt. Mike Porteous said.

Homeowners crowdsource to fight B.C. speculation tax
