Born when the cherry trees outside St. Paul’s Hospital were in full bloom, baby Sakurako will be two weeks old on Mother’s Day.
The newborn, whose name means “little cherry blossom” in Japanese, is the happy result of a challenging pregnancy that was handled by St. Paul’s new maternity clinic, which was created for women without a family doctor.
