More street markets for Vancouver? City to study unsanctioned street vending

On Tuesday, the city issued a request for proposals to conduct a study on illegal street vending in the Downtown Eastside.
According to the RFP, street vending is expanding across the city, particularly near the Main Street and Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain stations, “without an adequate city-wide policy.” The report is expected to examine the approa -
Maternity programs rebuild caribou herds, slowly but surely

Vancouver presale condo market faces higher prices and costs, but fewer cancellations than in Toronto
via vancouversun.comNews that some builders in Toronto’s hot condo market are bailing on pre-sale projects poses the question: And, what about in Vancouver?

In the greater Toronto area, some 17 projects, with over 3,600 pre-sale units offered for sale before 2017, were awaiting construction.
But they have been cancelled since the start of last year, according to real-estate-services firm Altus Gro -

Ongoing work to 'rewild' Vancouver parks brings people closer to nature

Letters, April 23: Politicians should be working together to build low-carbon economy, reader says

Just how did Lukas Jasek go from nowhere to legit prospect in seven games? Hint: It took three years
