Dan Fumano and Matt Robinson are nominated in the category of Project of the Year for their investigation into the case of Phillip Tallio.
Tallio is a Bella Coola man who has been in prison for 34 years for a murder he says he didn’t commit. Fumano and Robinson’s seven-part series followed Tallio’s appeal of his 1983 conviction in the murder of a young girl.

James Marvin Haslam of no fixed address has been charged with one count of arson. Haslam remains in custody and will re-appear in court on Thursday.
