Coquihalla re-opened after multi-vehicle crash sends 29 to hospital
via vancouversun.comThe Coquihalla Highway has reopened following a multi-vehicle crash the previous evening that sent 29 people to hospital and stranded another 136 in Hope.
The crash was reported just after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday evening and closed the stretch between Hope and Merritt in both directions, just south of the Othello Road exit.
The road was opened to northbound traffic around 7 a.m. and to southbound traffic around 8:30 a.m., after crews were finished salting the roadway.
