B.C.’s police watchdog is investigating a man’s death after he was Tasered during a parental kidnapping this weekend.
Around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Upper Fraser Valley RCMP were called to a location near Vedder and Well roads in Chilliwack for a parental kidnapping.
According to police Sgt. Janelle Shoihet, cops were told that a man was having a supervised visit with his child when he tried to leave the area on foot with the child.

Around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Upper Fraser Valley RCMP were called to a home near Vedder and Well roads in Chilliwack for a parental kidnapping.
According to Sgt. Janelle Shoihet, police were told that a man was having a supervised visit with his child when he attempted to leave the area on foot with the child.
