The contract, which was signed a week ahead of the Feb. 26 NHL trade deadline, will pay the 26-year-old blueliner an average of $4 million per season.

via vancouversun.comA man has been arrested following a double stabbing in Vancouver on Tuesday morning.
Around 5:30 a.m., Vancouver Police were called to the area of Princess Avenue and Powell Street for a possible disturbance. Officers who arrived at the scene located a 49-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.
The pair was taken to hospital with serious injuries but both victims are expected to recover.
