The Morning Skate, Feb. 13: Up all night
via theprovince.comHope you had a lovely Family Day. We’re back with the Skate.
My only advice as we get this week started: find someone that loves you like how much Leo Messi and Dani Alves like hitting long balls in warmup.
Saw someone ask about the best footballing duos of all time and our mind immediately jumped to Messi and Dani Alves.
So, we just had to make a video.
A tribute to one of the best footballing duos ever — Leo Messi and Dani Alves.pic.twitter.com/oFzoFqmKSS

Adjusted for age, the overall incidence rate of all cancers for all Canadians is in decline, but when you focus on women alone, the incidence is still creeping upward, according to a 2017 report by the Canadian Cancer Society. For men, the “all cancers” rate is in steady decline.
Those numbers encompass upward and downward trends for dozens of different cancers — melanoma is tren -

Sun Run training at night? Latest gear helps make safety a priority
via vancouversun.comSome of this year’s running gear may look like it belongs at a 1990s’ rave but all those blinking lights and neon stripes can be lifesavers.
For many runners, training during the light hours in the winter is near impossible. Late night or early mornings sessions have become the norm.
But as ICBC has warned, 76 per cent more pedestrians in B.C. are injured from November to January when conditions are dark and weather is poor compared to June through August. In B.C., on avera -
Schaefer: From guinea pig to running bug and loving every minute of it
via vancouversun.comMy 50-something body was ready to pack it in as I ran the uphill half of the Burrard Bridge during last year’s Vancouver Sun Run. My jog slowed to a shuffle, and the shuffle was about to become a stagger when I heard a voice at my side.
“You got this,” said a fellow runner, a guy half my age, as he loped past me.
I looked up as he pulled away. “Thanks,” I said, picking up a pace somewhere closer to a jog. He was one of thousands who would pass me that day.
I was wor
