On Oct. 25, 2015, the Leviathan II left Tofino with 24 passengers and three crew members on board. A Transportation Safety Board probe found that most of the passengers and crew were on the top deck of the vessel’s port side when a wave hit the starboard side.

On Feb. 24, 2016, Chilliwack RCMP were asked to check on Lois Unger, 51, at her home in Yarrow. Officers found Unger dead inside and evidence that her death was a murder.
Very few details were made public at the time, but police did say that it appeared to be domestic violence.

Attorney General David Eby announced the changes Tuesday, which will mean drivers in minor accidents will have a limit on what they can receive in compensation for pain and suffering of $5,500, indexed in the future to inflation.
The changes come into effect April 1, 2019, and are expected to save ICBC $1 -
