A Surrey man remains in custody facing weapon charges after police recovered a semi-automatic pistol during a traffic stop last week.
Surrey RCMP pulled over a suspected stolen vehicle on Jan. 23 and took the driver, believed to be intoxicated, into custody. Police say a loaded semi-automatic pistol, suspected illicit drugs, and a large sum of cash were seized.

Suspect charged with mischief following three-day vandalism spree
