• Teenage pedestrian struck by car in Burnaby dies

  Mounties in Burnaby are investigating after a teenage pedestrian was struck by a car and died early Wednesday.
  Shortly after 7 a.m., a vehicle travelling north on Cariboo Road struck the 15-year-old girl. 
  Emergency crews arrived and declared the girl dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is co-operating with investigators.
