via vancouversun.comVICTORIA — Police are investigating after a three-year-old child was pricked by a syringe Monday at a McDonald’s restaurant in Victoria.
The parents, who said they were responding to their crying child in the eatery in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue, saw an uncapped syringe, said Victoria police spokesman Const. Matt Rutherford.
The child was taken to hospital and has since been released.

North Vancouver RCMP search for missing man
via vancouversun.comNorth Vancouver RCMP is investigating the disappearance of 20-year-old Andrew Jutte.
Jutte, who had just recently moved to B.C. from Ontario, has not been heard from since he was last seen Sept. 8 on the North Shore.
“Police and family are concerned about his well-being,” North Vancouver RCMP said in a release.
